The Ba Wu is the instrument played by the people of Yunnan, which is a province in the South of China. It is known for its pure and untouched sound.

 

The Ba Wu produces sound by using the player's breath to vibrate a small metal piece at the end of the Ba Wu. The Ba Wu is a bamboo cane that has many holes carved in it. It's decorated with patterns and Chinese poems.
